The Probe has been recalled 13 times. The 1990 and 1991 model years have been involved in the most campaigns.

Recalls are free repairs, initiated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or Ford itself, for a widespread safety problem. They might be a pain, but a recalled problem is better than an ignored one.
